Re: Any interest in 1-1 training sessions? 3 months ago

From cybertrez to ~cyberia/ops

For sure! I've been really interested in learning more bout ansible.

I'm also free to walk people through using btcpay, which can totally be
used by anyone in cyberia for their own personal cryptocurrency needs if
they feel like that's a world they are interested in.

Re: Meta branch - What sort of Federal Legal Entity should we become 6 months ago

Good sum up jess. I would add:

an additional downside to making cyberia a 501c3 is the inability to
employ/pay members of congress and members of the board

an additional downside to being a cooperative/collective is we wont be
taken as seriously (at first anyways) when we do political stuff.

Both those downsides would be negated by setting up different branches
as separate legal entities to do separate things (and still having them
be part of/attached to cyberia). This is done fairly often by other orgs.

But the First Step is to decide on what we should make the club proper.

Re: New Capsul pricing scheme 7 months ago

From cybertrez to ~cyberia/ops

Off the cuff Looks good to me. Did we ever decide on how to people with
existing capsules?

Although, because we have more overhead with monthly payments, I think
should offer either a discount for paying yearly or bump up the price
for paying monthly.

We should make sure to include a chart detailing how much extra you
would be paying for extra disk space, IE, if you want 50G total, you
would pay an extra $8 (i think my maths right... extra 40G at 20
centsper gb... yeah thats right?)

| Total Disk Extra cost |
| 50G $8 |

Proposal to host a BTC Pay Server 7 months ago

From to ~cyberia/ops

Hey all.
I would like to propose creating a BTCPayServer. BTCPay is a self
hosted bitcoin payment portal with plugins for several other
cryptocurrencies.

example: https://donate.torproject.org/cryptocurrency
more info: https://btcpayserver.org/

Our current process for accepting cryptocurrency payments is super
clunky. Users have to manually convert the cost of their capsul from
usd to btc, send the bitcoin to our wallet, and then email me payment
proof.

Having a BTCPay server would solve these issues.
